Connect360 is a Smart monitoring platform provided to Energia customers from Cognition World. The service helps businesses monitor and report on their energy usage to help us all achieve our aggressive decarbonisation targets. As well as access to an exclusive tariff, customers are also able to demonstrate they are actively monitoring their energy use with a view to reduce waste, increase efficiency and become more sustainable.
Customers own the smart hardware which you pay for over 6/12 months as part of your regular bill – so there are no upfront costs for you. Once the devices are paid off you only pay a small monthly subscription for the connectivity and access to the platform.
These clever devices are industrial-grade, low power, low bandwidth wireless devices. This means the devices are robust enough for most business environments and can process and display large volumes of data at scale, in real-time. The lithium batteries last a number of years and are easily replaceable. The portal is designed for busy managers who want simple KPIs to help them target specific areas of interest.
Yes, you can add a range of monitoring devices from wireless temperature, humidity, CO2 and motion to Gas and fuel. You can procure extra devices directly at support@cognition.world
We've designed the service for people who are new to data analytics. We have a large range of supports available from our RESOURCE CENTRE as well as FAQs on the portal. You will also get access to our INSTALL SUPPORT videos and guides. We have our '10 Tips Guide' you can call upon to help you understand how to make the most of your data. Why did you choose to install Energia’s Connect360 smart energy analytics product?
Along with improving our lighting system, we wanted to get some additional detail on the energy we use in our store. Connect360 will allow us to get a better real time understanding our consumption. With that data to hand we can see what additional changes might be needed to further enhance the energy efficiency of the store.
What energy savings has Connect360 helped you to realise or do you hope it will help you to make?
Overall, we will be looking to make further changes throughout the store in order to make incremental energy savings. I hope with the use of the system, it will help myself and staff to make behavioural changes throughout the store, like switching off machines at the end of the day etc.
How has Connect360 impacted, or do you hope it will help to impact, your businesses carbon footprint and bottom line?
We hope it will give us a better understanding of how and where our energy is consumed within the store. It can lead to a 10-15% reduction in usage, but overall I’d hope it will make us more aware of our usage and avoid as much energy waste as possible.

Installing devices after a long period of inactivity
Please note: Devices that have not been installed for more than 3-6 months after shipment to your site will impact on operation as the devices will have been transmitting ‘keep alive’ signals every 5-15mins since shipment.
